Justin White's Second Aquarium

Name: Justin "seiji" White.

Tank Details: 55 Gallon Wal-Mart special which has turned out to be a really nice tank.

The Fish: 1 blush golden angel fish, 1 marble angel fish, 1 plecostomus, 4 koolie loaches, 4 albino cory cats, 2 peppered cory cats, 2 bleeding heart tetras, 4 zebra danios(2 long fin, 2 short), 6 red serpae tetras, 3 black skirt tetras, 1 female blue gourami, 1 dwarf gourami, 2 white cloud mountain minnows, 2 turquoise austrailian rainbows, and one very large comet goldfish.

Comments: I know the goldfish is a cold water fish but I had no choice. He was a rescue case. My baby sister won him at a county fair and had him in a cereal bowl. The poor thing was less than an inch long and wouldn't move, just sit there and twitch. He is now 5" long and very happy.

The tank has medium size natural colored gravel about 2" thick. There is a combination of live and plastic plants, large and small polyresin driftwood and some lare rocks for the koolies to hide under. There is an external power filter that came with the aquarium that really does a great job. I feed them Wardley tropical flakes with color enhancers, Wardley shrimp pellets, and Wardley sinking algae disk for the loaches, corys, and pleco. As a treat, about once a week I give them two cubes of freeze dried tubifex worms, which the koolies and corys actually come up to the top to eat. The background is just a simple roll out background on the outside of the tank. This was my first tank over 29 gallons, but was also just the begining.
