Comments: Lights are on for 8 - 9 hrs a day - only one flourescent tube used as the fish seem to prefer the low light. Seemed palid with two on but as soon as I started using one then they coloured up beautifully - especially the Jewel cichlids who are now almost bright orange along with their blue spots.
